Located in Asbury Park, Maruca’s Pizza has been a staple of the Jersey Shore since 1950.
Sammy Boyd and Dominick Maruca have been friends for close to 50 years. In 2016, Sammy approached Dominick with the idea of bringing his favorite pizza to Asbury Park. In 2019 Maruca’s of Asbury Park opened on the historic Asbury boardwalk. The combined efforts of Sammy and Dominick and their dedicated staff opened to rave reviews.
Maruca’s Tomato Pies’ story began back in 1950 in Trenton, NJ before making its way to the Jersey Shore. It quickly earned its spot on ‘The Best On the Boards’ status becoming a true boardwalk legend, and must go to destination. One glance at the GIANT tomato pie and its signature swirl will be enough to draw you in! Its unique taste comes from our special cheese blend & fresh Jersey tomatoes that create our signature swirl sauce on top.
